Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University have formed a cricket partnership whereby a joint team will be selected from a total student population of about 30,000.
Oxford MCCU plays its home games in the Parks, which has been a venue for First Class cricket since 1881 and has regularly hosted tourist matches. There are nine outdoor nets and an additional 'mini square' for practice on the main field. In addition, Oxford Brookes has two grounds and there is access to high-quality College grounds for other matches. There is a dedicated indoor net building (two-lane) with modern video equipment, bowling machines etc. There is access to modern fitness suites and experienced sports scientists.

Oxford Brookes working alongside the University of Oxford are able to offer an exciting range of courses, subjects and research areas. The Modular system, which Brookes first introduced in the 70's, allows a great deal of flexibility of study at different rates and the opportunity to select modules to suite your personal interests.

Oxford Colleges welcome applications for admission from all kinds of students from all types of schools and backgrounds. Students come to Oxford from every part of the UK and overseas. Most applications come from students in their first term of their second year in the sixth form and who are preparing to take their A levels or other school-leaving examinations in the following summer.
